Where does the time go? It was only a few short months ago that I had a different vision for our quaint little mall. What a difference it has made. I just wanted to take a moment to update everyone on the progress and what we’re up to.
Center Stage No. 3 will be the Tool Shed. It will be set on 5/2/17. Think of Grandpa’s Tool Shed. There will be lots of treasures from the past for the guys. I want to say “Thank You” to Kathy of The Farmer’s Daughter for taking the time from your busy schedule to help set our Center Stage at the beginning of the month. I appreciate it and I know our customers love it.
Our customers have told us that they want to see new old treasures more often. We are receiving great feedback that we have delivered on that. We still have a ways to go, but I know that many of our dealers are out there picking treasures for you – some on a daily basis.
JAM on Brown put together our first ever Vintage Style Bake Sale. It was a lot of fun. Thank you, customers for your show of support. A portion of the bake sale proceeds was donated to the Victims Family Fund. Thank you, Jacky, Clara & Chuck and Kevin. We raised $58 from the bake sale for that fund. Mike and I matched that. We delivered a check to River Valley Bank in the amount of $106. We wanted to honor Karen Lynn, one of our special customers who lost her life on March 22, 2017. I will miss you, Karen Lynn.
We are now Jackie’s Antique Mall on Brown, LLC. A real business as I say. As much as I don’t like to sell online, I have set up an Etsy shop for our mall. I personally have quite a few treasures that unfortunately do not sell well in an antique mall retail setting. But many of these treasures will sell online. That will make for a higher turnover of treasures so that I can pick more often. So check it out: Jackie’s Antique Mall on Etsy.
I am a one woman operation. I need to keep things simple and clean. So Jackie’s Attique is gone. It was confusing and most didn’t get it. My vintage map art designs and vintage inspired home decor items will be hosted on this website under Jackie Loos Design. The shopping cart is set up there and as I create items, I will list them there.
Coming up on 5/13/17 will be our first ever Plant Sale. I will have a flyer for that soon and let you know what plants will be available.
I will also be setting up a wish list for our customers. Our dealers will have access to that wish list. I’ll let you know when that feature is set up and is available.
Thank you to our customers – new and regulars. Mike and I, along with our dealers, appreciate your business. We wouldn’t be here without you.
